Hey, it’s Josh at BuyWise again. Wanted to let you know that we have ordered your appraisal. If this is a purchase transaction, there’s not a lot for you to do. The appraiser is going to reach out directly to the listing agent and schedule an inspection.
That inspection should occur in the next one to three days. Once the inspection is complete, we’ll have the report back within about three to five days, and you’ll receive a copy.
Now, if this is a refinance transaction, you’re going to be the point of contact most likely. They will reach out to you directly to schedule. It is important that you know that California law requires both smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in your home.
